Hi, I recently took apart my PS4 to remove dust from the components, but after putting it back together it doesn’t boot anymore. On the PS Forum I was told that I might have damaged the motherboard by touching it since human bodies have a static charge. Now I’m wondering: Should I send it to Sony for 150€ with the certainty of getting a working console, replace the motherboard myself (which is about 170$ alone and isn’t guaranteed to be the fix) or just buy a new PS4 Slim/Pro. Thanks in advance!
When you mean by doesn’t boot does it turn on and get stuck on a blue flashing light, beep turns on for a bit or off or doesn’t respond at all?
I had this exact same problem but I used compressed air
