Chosen Solution

PLEASE CHECK EDIT 2Hello,So like 2 months ago I wanted to clean my ps4 but failed in the beginning. I ripped off my 4 Pin connector. Now I want to mention that im not someone who is soldering nor cannot understand how soldering really works (Some I know some I don’t) I do have someone who solders but I have limited time since he is gone by friday. I do want to mention that I also saw a cable soldering thing. The real point is that I broke the 4 pin connector off and manage to get 1 solderpad off. I Don’t know what people mean by Trace points etc. So if someone could maybe link a video of it could be helpfull so i can understand it a bit more. Simple story: I broke my 4 pin connector. Got 1 solderpad with it (still on the connector) I do not know what trace points etc are. I have a CUH11xx version. Would be great to like hear something in “Baby-ish” language to know what is needed to be done

***Edit 2: Since my mom isn’t a good help in this scenario she doesn’t really care to ask the fellow worker at her work to solder it with a wire so that it can reconnect. My mom only said to him to solder the connecter just back and thats it. I told her many times that will probably not work but instead gets angry at me then saying if it broke its probably ur fault since I broke the connector on the motherboard. So my last question. If it soldered on. Can it still be repaired since I do not think it will be working.

Either the solder pad needs to be reconstructed (best but most difficult), or alternatively a bit of trace needs to be exposed and a jumper wire run from it to the appropriate leg. I recommend watching a video or two of each technique to get a proper idea of the complexity of each. Also I would test the spot where the pad was torn from for continuity, make sure the tear didn’t go through to the ground plane.

Solder it back on. First remove the mask around the points on the motherboard, the use some flux and melt the contacts on the connector, and drop it into place.(By the way i am 14 years old and repairing tech is a hobby of mine.)
