Chosen Solution
Just replaced a screen on a lumia 625. But the screen turns black when making calls. When I lift the screen away from the sensor, it shows again. Is there anything I can use whuch could strio the purple paint (or whatever it is) away from the glass where the proximity sensor lays? Thanks
Did you use original foam tape to adhere the digitizer? Or double sided tape? I’ve had the same thing happen to me on my first lumia 625 job, using self cut double sided tape. Since then i always have original pre-cut foam tape in stock. Not had a problem ever since. the sensor is very picky.
If I remove some of the foam tape thats on the screen, will this fix the problem?
