Motorola one 5g w/ cracked screen. How do I know if it’s just the glass that needs to be replaced or does the LCD need to be replaced also?

If the screen is fully functional without any distorted pixels you should be fine to just replace the glass. I have found it is blatantly easier to replace the whole display if you are able however.
