i have iphone 6s, With the new battery, when I turn the phone on after booting is complete, the battery is cool but chip becomes too hot after 30 seconds and restarts the phone. Also, the home button doesn’t work at all error: (unable active touche in your iphone), During that 30 seconds, if I plug in the charger, the screen becomes distorted and the phone resets itself.
It sounds like your battery is bad quality why don’t you buy one frm IFIXIT. iPhone 6s Battery
OK, need some clarity here. Firstly you need to separate the battery chip overheating issue from the home button, they are unlikely to be connected. Regarding the home button. The home button is programmed to a chip on the main circuit board. I assume you disconnected the screen when you replaced the battery, correct? Did you do anything else to the screen or only just disconnect it? If you did not touch the home button, you may have caused some damage where the screen connects to the main board. If you removed the home button from the screen, chances are you have damaged the home button. Regarding the battery, connect the old battery and inspect the chip which gets hot. If the chip still gets hot and the old battery causes the phone to boot loop, you probably have a board level fault. If it does not, the other battery is likely faulty.
Hi, did you replace the battery yourself? If so the reason the home button doesnt work is because Apple did that on purpose. When you try to fix your phone yourself Apple every once and a while will throw in this dumb error, and make the home button stop working. They do this to make money so people cant fix it themselves. The reason the iPhone is pry overheating is because it is doing to much at once or there is a ton of things happening inside the phone. Hence causing it to overheat. I hope this helped, and have a great day!
