Power Won T Stay On And It Doesn T Seem Like The Disc Is Even Spinning Playstation 3

The red light comes on when on when I plug in the power source. When I press the power button the green light comes on for 2 seconds then it’s blank. I can hit the power button again and the red light comes back on. But it doesn’t seem like the disc itself is spinning and I don’t hear any fan coming on.

This unit is not passing the internal self test and is shutting down. There is little to go on here, but I would start by replacing the power supply. This is the most common failure and the easiest to replace. Try that first and update this with the results. Dan
