Chosen Solution
This iPhone SE 1st gen was given to me in this state. The previous owner drilled the front camera out for privacy reasons. I do not have a SIM card with service to test cellular connectivity. I am unable to get my watch to pair via bluetooth and Wi-Fi randomly stops working with the switch grayed out in settings.
@guardian10 “with the switch grayed out” if they went to the extent of drilling through the camera I would not be surprised that they also “disabled” BT and WiFi by the IC or the antenna or within the WiFi circuitry. You do need to check on all of that as well.
