Chosen Solution
I took off the digitizer off and tested the lcd before disconnecting it all.. I went to put the lcd back in and there is no picture when I turn the power button on.. but when I go to charge it the picture comes up but it wont let me use the touch screen as it doesn’t work.. can someone help me with this problem? thanks
Possibly incorrectly installed? Go through and double check everything, and make sure you follow the guide step by step, taking NO shortcuts. iFixIt doesn’t have a guide for this one, sadly; just use the one you’ve found.
I realised the home button wakes it but the power button doesn’t work.. Once it’s awake the touch screen doesn’t work either? Any ideas?
