Chosen Solution
Had changed disc drive do to power problem. Power problem is fixed. Now system will play dvds but won’t play games. Insert game and drive kicks on and off. As if trying to read disc. Had already reset drive by holding down the eject button for 15 seconds. It sounds like it resets but still does not work with game disc.
The blue part of the drive is probably never good to begin with, DVD playback uses the red part so it’s working. Does it play games before the swap?
