After having replaced (successfully!) the battery in my Pro 4, I do not remember which screw goes where… Is it possible that t3 will only go in one specific hole and the same for the t4 and t5 screws? Also, where do the (4?) Phillips head screws belong? TIA, Jim
Hi, Here’s the ifixit Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Battery Replacement guide The following screw are mentioned in this guide 4 x 1.5mm T4 in Step.9 2 x 1.5mm T3 in Step.10 1 x 1.5mm T4 + 1 x 3.0mm T4 in Step.11 5 x 1.5mm T3 + 1 x 2.0mm T4 in Step. 14 1 x 2.0mm T4 in Step.16 The T5 screws are mentioned in the kickstand guide and also the left speaker guide. Here’s the link to all the ifixit Surface Pro 4 repair guides that may help. There is no mention of any Phillips head screws in any of the ifixit repair guides for the Surface Pro 4.
