I can turn my phone on but it won’t let me go to anything. I press the screen and it won’t do anything at all

You should first try turning your phone completely off enabling a restart. Feel free to also remove the battery. Then power the phone on again!

Activate another restart by shutting the phone off and turning it back on. Sometimes it just has to be done a few times.
