My son threw his iPhone on the ground and shattered the screen. With the shattered screen the phone seemed to be completely dead. I have replaced the screen and the phone is still dead. Any suggestions?
It could be a few different things. Either the digitizer is dead or the main board. I would check the prices on those parts and see if it is still ethical in your mind to spend the money on the repair. The only thing I can personally think of if some sort of crack on the main board or connections coming loose inside the phone. Best to pop it open and just check everything.
Look at all signs of reactions from it. Are you sure the new screen you got is broken as well? Also, try to plug it into itunes and see if it reacts. Good luck
