My IPhone 4s screen is cracked and has just stopped working, but the screen still turns on. I really want my photos off of it, but it has a passcode to get into. (can’t type it in because of messed up screen). Is there anyway i can get them off my phone and transfer them somewhere else without having to actually get into the phone?
If you’ve synced the phone with a computer before, you should be able to plug it in and transfer the pictures. If not, it’ll ask you to press a button on the phone to allow connection to the computer, which is not going to happen unless you have the screen working. You’re probably going have to get another screen and plug it in to type in the password. If you don’t care about the phone anymore, just buy like a cheap one on ebay or something. Then it’s just a few screws to take off and then temporarily put the new screen on.
