Hi, I have a wierd one hear. I have the iPhone 4s on a PAYG sim. Installed the sim and all seemed to be fine. But when I try to make a call there is no sound from the speaker and phone hangs up after a few seconds. No when I receive a call I can hear the phone ringing but when I answer it I can not hear the caller and the caller can not hear me.. Any ideas??
It Can Cause Microphone & Speaker Disorder, Have You Tried To Reboot It ? Can You Listen To Other Sounds ? If You Can, It Can Be A Problem To The Person Whos Calling You Or Calling Them. Or Else, Consult A Technician. Its No Software Or Any Malwares, Its Hardware. Cheers, Erol -Microsoft Community
Nobody could hear me when I called from inside my house, but when I was somewhere else there was no problem. If you turn off Wi-Fi Calling then when you are inside your house your connection will go through the tower network and not your Wi-Fi, which may be weak when it comes to phone calls. Alex
That’s a ear speaker problem.so you have to replace it.
My husband had this problem. After trying many things, we finally just updated the phone and it started working.
Do a reset of the network only.
I have this problem with my iPhone.
