ok so what happened was i put my phone on my bed and i have an otterbox case so when i threw my water bottle onto my bed and it hit my phone, the screen wasn’t cracked but the touch screen part wouldn’t work. i opened it to see if a cable had disconnected or something but nothing was wrong. after re assembling it, the screen wouldn’t turn on at all, but the vibration still worked. is there any way that i can fix this without dropping a ton of money?
hello Charles, Unfortunately, the only way is to replace the screen. It doesn’t have to be Apple original. If you are a skillful person, you can do it yourself. Follow the instructions on ifixit.com Additionally, depending on your location, you will find different prices for replacement screens. I suggest a replacement, but not the cheapest one - avoid screens marked “InCell” - they are not good. The cost of a good screen will not exceed (in US) more than $ 50 if you spend your time over “your own kitchen table” regards, fingers crossing
