Chosen Solution
Ok, so I got my screen replaced awhile ago, but the battery apparently was damaged. Just recently got to the point where it wouldnt charge. I put in a older battery from my moms or my phone (I dont know which one, both are the iphone 5) and it was working, but sometimes if i unplug it, i hear a soft click sound and shuts off. I can restart it using home+power button. Charging doesnt turn it on sometimes. Whats wrong?
never herd of the soft click sound, where is that coming from ? bottom speaker, ear speaker or somewhere else inside the phone. Try to restore the iphone to factory settings and if that doesnt work, Try replaceing the battery once more (with a new Battery) and also try the replaceing the charging port aswell.
Ive just had the same problem with my tablet, im hoping it would turn on again despite its low battery power, but im still curious if it would of meant any damage to my battery
