About a week later my keys were returned and since I hadn’t bought the new switch yet I put the original one back on. Now when I crank the truck up it will turn but won’t stay on. I did the hole 10 min on, 10 sec off thing but still no luck. When I turn the key on the security light no longer lights up....

What could be wrong ? @kirstynma3boys that depends on the make and exact model of your TV. It is possible that this is a T-con board error (less likely) or a backlight error(most likely). Once the TV turned black, (in a darkened room) shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen....

Chosen Solution Alienware 15r2, AC adapter light flashes once plugged in to laptop. It then has to be removed from power to reset it. Kinda like it senses a short when plugged in and goes into a safe mode. I have replaced DC input assembly inside the laptop. Checked all connections to the best of my limited ability. Looking through forums , the next step seems to be replacing the mainboard....
Chosen Solution I did the iFixit battery replacement for my wife’s iPhone 8 following the guide here. All went OK, except I overheated the lower right corner of the screen I guess so the colors are bad. The bigger problem is the power button does nothing. Presses don’t turn the phone off or on. Advice? The burn may have done damage to the off button.Tear it down and see if anything is wrong....
Chosen Solution I have a 0 ohm resistance short to ground on VDD_main. Because there is no resistance I can’t find the cause of the short with my heat camera. There are only 2 things that come to mind. A physical short has been caused by some kind of debris or misplacement which I just can’t find even with cleaning and searching thoroughly, or A surface mount component has failed causing a 0 ohm short to ground....

So you have the “press home button” message and you cant do so because the button is broken? If this is the case, youre in luck. There may be other ways around it, but the iPhone 6 home button is easily replaced. They are also cheap and can be had for less than 5 dollars....

The squeaking usually originates from the rod that the Ink Cartridge carrier rides on. It happens when the bushings of the Ink Cartridge run dry. I suggest to clean the rod with some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to clean any old ink or other residue of that rod....

Chosen Solution The LCD of the laptop screen is broken, I believe. The laptop turns on to a black screen, but does not work. That display is going to be very difficult to find and high dollar. The retain your warranty on the rest of the machine, I would certainly consider having Apple do this one (I really dislike giving that advice).

Chosen Solution So I unfortunately dropped my iPhone 8 Plus and the front screen smashed , I’m only 17 so I couldn’t afford to take it to Apple as they charge over £150, so I took it to a local repair shop. Everything was fine until I took it home and realised the screen was weird and my front AND back camera don’t look right it’s like there’s a haze over it, it’s dull and my camera looks weirdly saturated and low quality and it makes me look washed out....
Chosen Solution I just bought a new PS4 pro disc drive directly from Ifixit because my old drive was not reading disc and I just installed the new drive into my into my PS4 pro. However now the new drive won’t even suck in the disc. I double and triple checked to make sure all the ribbon cables are properly plugged in and they are. So I put the old drive back in just to see and make sure it wasn’t the PlayStation and the old drive still sucks in the disc it just won’t read the disc (which is the reason I am replacing however when I put the new drive in it won’t even pull the disc in still....
