Chosen Solution My 2005 passat has issues starting in cold weather. Today it is -7. When this happened last year, I had to have it towed. I was told, sparkplugs, and other routine maintanance. I replaced the plugs, did the routine maintanance, and here I go again, not starting. I know it’s cold out. The Toyota with 183000.0 miles on it starts no matter what the temp. Any suggestions? Chosen Solution Bit of an odd one that I’ve never come across before and now I’m completely stumped. I have in my possession an iPhone 8, everything is working properly except the proximity sensor doesn’t work with skin. If i cover it with paper, plastic, my shirt, litterally anything, it works. The screen goes off during a call and the diagnostics app (Phone Diagnostics by Hitek Nova) verifies the proximity sensor is responding correctly....

Chosen Solution i want to upgrade my 12gb to a 500gb ps3. now i get two options 4001s and 4201. my PS3 is the 4201. now when the part arrives do i simply pop the new one in and I’m good to go? there is not much instructions that seem to be coming with the part. Chosen Solution I had to run out so I click on " Shot Down" and that is when it started to update.I shot it down anyway. 30 mn later I turn it back on but at start up it stays blank or grey. Lenovo t410 hie See if the connections of the screen to the other parts of the laptop are connected properly. Make sure the cables have no faults too....

Chosen Solution When i turn on my tablet it only goes to viking pro screen. It wont turn on all the way Try pressing power button and volume down button at the same time then select an option!

Chosen Solution My touch bar got cracked and the display is no longer functional, can someone give me an estimate how much would it cost to get the touch bar display replaced form the  store? Replacing the touch bar requires a full topcase replacement, and Apple will replace the battery with it. Unfortunately it’s pretty expensive. A full topcase assembly comes in (prices from the netherlands) at roughly 500 euros (€ 499,20 to be exact, excluding taxes, which brings it up to 600 euros in the netherlands)....

Chosen Solution I can power it on, but it goes to a blue screen that says it needs to repair. I can’t hit the repair button cause it’s like the screen is froze. I know the screen works, cause if I go to the boot menu, I can touch on options. But once I’m out of that, I can’t go further. Does that mean I need to connect a mouse to the tablet or a keyboard?...

Chosen Solution My problem is this: Installed an OWC SSD into my mid 09 MacBook Pro. At first it was working great, then after watching some video’s, screen went black, after the cursor just spun and spun. Sometimes after going black I’d be able to move the cursor sometimes not. After a force shutdown, and restart, Then I get the circle with the line, or the question mark. I put back the old drive, worked perfectly....

Chosen Solution I have an Acer Aspire S7 and replaced a faulty keyboard. However I did not disconnect the battery during the replacement and may have corrupted something in the process. After the replacement, when I boot up the computer I get a “no available boot device” error and there are no drives found in the BIOS, indicating that it can’t access the hard drive. Since these SSD’s seem to be hot-swappable, I don’t think I “wiped” the drive during dissembley, but I’m not sure....

Chosen Solution Hi there I hoping someone can Help me Regarding my PS4. I’m no Noob I actually Do all sorts of Repairs And some light Rework/Reballing. I bought a PS4 unit of eBay with a Damaged Hdmi port with Missing pads. The unit did power up upon testing it. I proceeded to Repair the port and The missing pads With Enameled Wire. Tested the console All good. However after Putting it back together Cleaning etc it now has now no power what so ever no beep nothing....

I have checked the fuse in the plug which is fine but that’s about as far as I know what to do. I guess the next step is to take the thing to bits but what should I look for? Chosen Solution Hello. So, yesterday I played a game. And somehow the electricity stopped in my room for a few seconds. Then when everything came back on I powered on my computer and got no signal to my monitors. The computer starts up and all the fans are spinning (except for the graphics cards fans). I’ve tried taking out the GPU and putting it back in, no luck. Also tried disconnecting the power cord, no luck....

Chosen Solution I broke the tablet monitor and ordered digitizer+display on ebay. The seller made a mistake, so those parts were delivered separately. After I install it, I found the touch screen is totally inverted! It feels like the touch screen should turn 180 degree, but I can’t do that because the connection is fix at right top. There is one discussion about similar issue, but not solved yet. (x axis inverted on digitizer after replacement) I think the root cause is the model of digitizer is not match, but want to know if this can be fix by install the correct firmware or change the software setting?...

Chosen Solution Hello, I fixed the optical drive roller which was misplaced to fix the CD intake problem, This problem was fixed but I was still getting error with disk reading so I decided to replace the laser kit. I successfully replaced it. I restarted my PS4 but no activity in optical drive. It is not doing anything. Seems there is no power. It seems something got wrong during re-assembly. Not sure how to fix now....

Chosen Solution I ordered what I thought was the correct screen for my iphone 8 plus pink with white screen. However, today the screen arrived and it’s black. I dont really care as I like the black screen. Can I use it? Update (08/01/2022) Thanks Jerry. So I hooked up new screen and…nothing. Re-Hooked up old screen and it still has the lines on the scree. Not sure why new screen does absolutely nothing (blank)....
