Chosen Solution Found TV on the side of the road and decided it would be a fun project. TV powers on, but no display. Moving the jog controller causes noises that are consistent with volume control and menu functions. Shining a light on the screen shows some text moving around the screen, so the LCDs are working. Looks like the backlight is dead. Testing the voltage at the connector to the LEDs, I read roughly 200V on 1 of the 5 lines, and roughly 0V on the rest....

Chosen Solution I swapped out the mechanical hard drive in my iMac for an SDD, as the iMac was worse with the SSD (due to the 32gb NVME drive already installed for Fusion) I removed the SSD and put the mechanical drive back in. On doing so the iMac will now not display anything when booting off the hard drive, strangely enough though, it will display booting off the Bootcamp partition and an external drive with Windows 10 on it!...

Chosen Solution No one can hear me unless I have it on speaker I hear them fine. On the note 4 the microphone is behind a pin hole on the bottom side of phone this will be blocked stopping voice from reaching the mic . This blockage needs to be removed , very carefully and without pushing too far inside this hole use a needle to pick out any blockage , this should fix the problem if the mic hole is blocked

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Air which failed to turn on, connected the charger and got a Green then Amber MagSafe light, Connected my neighbors charger and still no power, I attempted an SMC reset which made the charger go from amber to Green for a moment then back to Amber After later removing the charger I smelled a plastic burning smell from the MagSafe port on the laptop. If anyone knows how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it...

Chosen Solution My system boots up fine & I can hear it moving through the menus on the home screen but I have no video. There is nothing physically wrong with the HDMI cable I’m using & the port has no visible damage. I’ve tested the cable with other devices. It seems to me like everything is working fine, except the tv. Have you tried plugging into a different hdmi port?...

Chosen Solution 2008 Hummer 2 changed my oil and when i started the car the oil pressure said 0 i am looking for where the pressure sensor gauge is located. i bought on but cant find it. and not sure its the right direction When you change engine oil and filter it is normal for an engine to take a few seconds to read pressure. Assuming all was fine before you changed oil, @jimfixer has your solution....

Chosen Solution Hay Everyone, I just had a problem with my Philips tv. I purchase this in late 2018 and it has hardly been used but a couple of day’s back, the tv just went into a boot loop mode. It just keeps rebooting again and again and won’t go past the philips logo on the screen. The led’s power on, the philips logo come on and goes away and then the leds go back off, and it just keeps doing this....

Chosen Solution I am having an issue where he mic for the Phone App is not working for calls. I believe that that is the bottom mic. To test, I have used the voice recorder and siri. Both work ok. Facetime audio and video both work as well. I recently replaced the Lighting connector ribbon, but it still did not help. It is only for voice calls that it is not working....

Chosen Solution I have these pop ups on the bottom of my television screen that I can’t get off. I also don’t have a remote @sayradah you did not tell us much about the pop-ups. You should tell us what they say or look like. It is possible that you are in hotel mode, demo mode or similar. I would check the options in the factory mode. Chosen Solution Hi Came to power on my surface today and the power button no longer clicks meaning I can’t power it on, would it be possible replace the button? Thanks Sorry, I never updated this with the solution that I came up with. I was never able to get a replacement power button, so I removed the button entirely and there is a direct line of sight from the old power button hole to the ribbon connector on the motherboard....

Chosen Solution Power button works, red light comes on, no screen shine a bright light into the screen and see if you can see an image.. can you hear sound? If you can hear sound and no picture but see the picture with a bright torch shining into the screen then back light board has gone you need a new back light board.. if no sound and still no picture when shining torch in to screen then not back light....

Chosen Solution I have a lenovo M90P small form factor And the power switch is not working I’ve tried reseating and then seeding the wires have tried the paper clip test I’ve used the paper clip test make sure that power runs through or everything on the motherboard and I got power to everything but the computer refuses to turn on with the power switch I’ve even gotten a remote power switch to test see if it wasn’t the case is power switch and there was no luck there, any ideas?...

When I plug it in it will turn the light on the fans will start up then immediately shut off and will be completely unresponsive until I un plug it and plug it back in and then it repeats...

Chosen Solution Try for a free repair https://www.apple.com/support/13-inch-ma… One of the display ribbon cables is failing or is not fully seated. I would strongly recommend you visit an Apple Store as there has been quite a few of these failing. It should be covered under an extended warranty program.

Chosen Solution My sons samsung e lite tablet has been hit a few times when he gets frustrated and now it is displaying a patchy black and white image almost as if the screen is cracked what do i need to do—————————————————————————————————- I believe there could be a problem with the LCD of your tablet and you should just replace the LCD yourself or take it to a repair shop.

Chosen Solution Just replaced the battery in the MacBook Pro 13” with a new one from iFixIt. The battery shows up at 78% and is charging, I’m watching the mAh increase. The LED on the charger shows orange, as in charging. If I disconnect the power supply the computer won’t run on the battery alone, it must be plugged in, even though it has a charge. Any ideas? Sadly, I think the switching logic which control the power source from the battery to the logic board is not working....

Chosen Solution I just replaced my laptop screen, the old one had a backlight problem (backlight just stopped working, you could see that eveything worked in the dark, but no light in the screen) I ordered the same piece number on amazon, I also ordered a new flex cable, perfect sceen, beautiful and bright… when plugged… when the laptop is on battery the screen automatically starts flickering (not flickering in brightness and it doesn’t go black) in colors and resolution… the image looks ugly and with poor resolution, also the colors change....
