Chosen Solution Installed new battery, bought a new charger and yet still no indication the it’s working. No charging lights or won’t turn on. Hi, Open the laptop and then disconnect the DC-In jack connector from the motherboard. Check the jack for continuity using an Ohmmeter to test the jack’s centre pin to the red wires and the jack’s sleeve connector to the black wires. Sometimes the DC-In jack’s centre pin connection breaks internally....

Chosen Solution Hello, Lately my nexus 4 has been randomly losing signal, i can’t seem to get 3g connecton in some places where i used to. The Wi Fi also appears to be weaker. Besides that, the power button is also now harder to press and i takes quite a lot of tries to get it locked. I have tried restarting it, turning on/off both the wifi and the data connection and also i tried reinstalling the latest version of Android Lollipop....

Chosen Solution Hello. I have an ‘02 Honda Accord. It will not even try to turn over when I turn the key. After trying to crank, the starter motor continuously makes a whirring sound like it’s spinning. It does this even with the ignition off/key out. The only way to make the little starter motor stop making that sound is to disconnect the negative battery cable. I’m thinking it’s an electrical issue, but any insight would definitely be appreciated....

Chosen Solution A while back we had a technician working on a Surface Pro 3. He did a dumb and did not isolate the battery before connecting the new display and fried the backlight on the device. We tried multiple confirmed working displays and all yielded the same result: no backlight. It would seem that the problem is board-level. I am attempting repair, but since there seem to be no available boardview or schematic files available for this device, I am at a loss for where to start troubleshooting....

Chosen Solution Hi, The home button on my iphone 5S was not working so I thought I would open it up and have a look. I wasn’t able to fix it so I decided to close it again but the screen was just black although it did vibrate and it could receive calls ( i just couldnt see anything on the screen). I decided to open it again and check the connections from the LCD screen to the phone, I took all 3 of them out and put them back in but that still didnt work....

Chosen Solution Freezer stopped cooling and a day later the top fridge stopped cooling. Received 21E & 22E codes. We’ve replaced the freezer fan motor and the fridge fan. Fans are now running but still not cooling. No longer receiving any error codes. I have done a reset of the system. I am at a loss for what to do next or what might need replacing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Chosen Solution I have an Operon B830 with no drive function. Upon pressing the drive function both the service light flashes (intermittent) and the limit switch light flashes. Anyone familiar with or seen this issue before? Every other function seems to work. The first think I would check is a limit switch on the drive function. Chosen Solution I Restored a time machine backup of a iMac 24" Late 2006 (Which died years ago) and tried booting into the restored backup on a MacBook 3,1 And a MacBook Pro Mid 2009 15" 2.66 Ghz and it keeps starting to boot (Does the apple logo then loading circle) then restarts. I have tried repairing broken files with disk utility and have tried Safe Mode and still have the same issue....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to fix a 60’ Panasonic Plasma with vertical lines. I’ve already thoroughly cleaned all the ribbons, and replaced all three of the vertical control boards at the bottom of the unit, to no avail. Chosen Solution I made sure that the battery was probably installed into the phone but the phone still won’t turn on whenever I press the power button. Charging the phone doesn’t seem to help either. Chosen Solution My tablet won’t charge, and displays “Plugged in, not charging”. I checked the charger, and it seems to work just fine with other devices, so I’m thinking this is a charging port issue. (Because if it was the battery that was the issue, it would display that it was at least charging, right?) Does anyone have any idea what the cost to repair this would be? Chosen Solution Is the power connector to blu ray on the motherboard available to buy as a spare part or does the entire board have to be replaced? the connector came loose when i unplugged it, then it disappeared. See image marked with red circle. Hi Iv had a look online and I can’t seem to find one however I have a solution! If you go onto places like eBay and try and find a used donor board that has your connector on it you can get it that way As for removing it I recommended heating the other side of the board with a hot air station until the solder melts to avoid melting the plastic on the connector Once you have your connector solder it on using a soldering iron to avoid melting it Also are all the pads on the board ok?...

Chosen Solution How do I fix the power button? Did not drop or damage it. I had this problem! I fixed it by removing my battery on my phone then wait 3 seconds and put it back in. If that doesn’t work allow your phone to die then wheen it is charging try to turn it back on (may need to remove battery)! Hope this helps! :)

Chosen Solution when I push my eject button it beeps but if I try to put in a game it won’t take it there is nothing with the rollers I think it might have to do with the 4 pin power cable or the some ribbon cable I think when my ps4 is off and then I try to put in a game it does turn on I can try to push it in with the manual screw but it does nothing i am not sure what it could be I can push the disc in a bit and then I pushed the eject button the disc just stayed there I did not hear anything when I did that...

Chosen Solution I unplugged my router and reset it this morning and it still wasn’t turning on, how do I get power back in my router I had some good luck on the mine one, and finnally it is working again. Check the other post: Will not power on Before resetting the router, press the “Power” button back and forth to see if it powers on. If it doesn’t, press and hold the “Reset” button on the back of the router to restore the device to the default factory settings....

Chosen Solution My sim card is not recognized. What’s the problem? I have reseted the device to factory settings and then updated the software, however the problem persists. Did you just purchase the LG Optimus G Pro or have you tried to switch carriers? If this LG was originally a Verizon phone and you’re trying to take it to [virtually] any other carrier than the SIM won’t be recognized as the phone will be incompatible with the carrier and towers that the carrier uses....

Chosen Solution My friend gave me his iPhone 5c to change the sreeen it had water damage but it still work. When I change the sreeen the sreeen didn’t even turn on . It been connected to iTunes it reconized it but still sreeen won’t turn on what do I do? As Jason mentioned, use isopropyl that is a minimum of 91% (ideally 99%) and see if there is a difference after it dries....
