Chosen Solution My phone (Galaxy A70 2019) was accidentally soaked with plenty of regular alcohol, which I dried immediately. Then I made several mistakes because I trusted myself because it was only alcohol and not water: I did not turn it off right away and I continued to use it for a few minutes, I turned it off and turned it on again after a few hours thinking that nothing had happened to it and unfortunately the screen touch stopped working where I thought alcohol had gotten under the screen protector....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, i have problem with my PS2, it stopped reading discs, this happened when i was playing Tekken 5 (original disc) and while playing, i proceeded to the next stage and then just stopped at the character pictures, i waited for long time and nothing and so i restarted my PS2 and it didn’t read the disc, i tried another original disc and nothing, i tried a blue disc (the other ones were silver) and it worked but it stucked at the first text screen, so that means it still can read blue discs but will stuck at the first loading I tried all my original DVDs and nothing, i opened the PS2 and tried to see if i can fix it, there wasn’t a lot of dusts and cleaned the laser eye (the thing that the red laser comes out from) and nothing, i tried turn the two white gears and still nothing but i noticed something, when i put a silver disc the laser eye starts going up and down inside and makes the clicking sound, a soft one so i think this could lead me to my main problem My model number is SCPH-50004, very similar to the SCPH-50001 So any help please ?...

Chosen Solution I always charge my tablet over night. One day I woke up, it was hot and the battery charge icon kept disappearing and reappearing. I kept the charger plugged in, but moved plug sockets incase the other had become faulty. I have now attempted to unplug my tablet and turn it on, but it is now stuck in a loop -showing the “Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0” logo, then going black, then bk to the Samsung screen....
Chosen Solution My 2016 MacBook Pro 13 inch screen shuts off after opening the lid. If I only raise it about 45 degrees it stays on. Once it reaches 50-90 degrees depending on how slowly I raise it - the screen goes black. But connecting via hdmi to a separate screen everything still works but display on laptop is black. Obviously a switch in the hinge is bad? Can I fix this myself?...

Chosen Solution My screen went black when watching youtube and there is only sound. Tried the cable and it is still black with only sound Crystal Smith verify your model being a LG 60LM6450. You do need to check all inputs and see if the screen remains black. Get a flashlight and in a darkened room shine the light at an angle against the screen, With the TV at a station that you know is functioning, something where you have audio, try and check to see if you can make out silhouettes....
Chosen Solution My screen protector has faint cracks in it, should I replace it? Tracy Laverack I am certain it still protects your LCD for now but since it is cracked consider replacing it. Cheaper than having to get the display repaired :-)

Chosen Solution my tablets charging port has been broken and it is directly connected to the motherboard so i thought of connecting an usb cable so i can use it will it work? plus the box of the tablet does not tell anything about the brand or about the model. and it looks like the selected model it would be more difficult to just solder the wires directly than getting the charge port repair

Chosen Solution I found a old Netgear FVS318N v1.1 (without the Netgear power adapter). I plugged a compatible adapter (12V, 1,5 A), but the device does not power on. I am surprised to not find a fuse inside, and no component seems burned. Any repair idea ? Did you check that DC adapter has same polarization than the original, did you check that adapter works? If yes and yes, and it didn’t work....

Chosen Solution I replaced 30g video ipod battery. Seemed pretty simple. New battery worked fine until factory charge was used up. Hooked up to charger. Screen showed ‘charging’ image for over 10 hours and never changed to ‘charged’. Battery did not accept any charge and is at lowest amount of charge just enough to try to boot but goes dead before boot up complete. What to do? Of course make sure that you do have a good battery....
