Chosen Solution My speaker wont turn off it keeps flashing a red light Remove the plastic plate on the end with all the connection ports. I used a very small flat head screwdriver. Once opened, look inside with a flashlight and you’ll see a small plug. I used very small needle nose pliers and just unplugged it, waited a few seconds and plugged it back in. Be careful not to damage any of the other parts....

Chosen Solution After turning it on, I hear the dong, then it keeps rebooting & donging every couple of seconds. Screen stays dark. 3 LEDs lit on the motherboard. (screen is disconnected, so not 4) LEDs don’t change during the reboot cycle. Tried different power supply. Replaced the EFI chip with a new pre-programmed one. No dice so far. Any thoughts? Thanks! Chosen Solution Let’s see how to explain this… Had a swollen battery, replaced it according to the guide, I think I used too much alcohol so my cameras, front and back got foggy, after replacing the battery the phone worked fine, it charges and I could see use the phone. I left it charging and a few minutes later checked the cameras again and there was condensation on the back cameras again so I removed the back cover to clean and left it open while wireless charging so all the alcohol would evaporate… now I have no image, the phone keeps working, and I get the haptic feedback when trying to unlock with my thumb, but I can’t turn it off and I really don’t want to buy a %#*@ screen after having to buy a new battery....

It would show the “low battery” screen upon pressing the power button and would register the MagSafe being connected when plugged in (it would change from the indicator to insert the charger to the indicator that showed it was charging) but then wouldn’t get any further. No LED on the MagSafe charger that came with it....

When I attach it to the logic board, all the pins are dead, zero volts everywhere. Q: Does this mean there’s a short on the logic board? Wouldn’t the pins still show a voltage since the short is drawing power? Q: Do I need to supply voltage to the board to find the short?...
