Chosen Solution Hi ifixiters I have a Kitchen Bowl Lift Stand Mixer (European version). Model number 5KSM7591. The bowl lift got damaged and needed replacing, so I bought a replacement. I thought I needed to remove the motor but after removing the cover I realised that wasn’t the route. I may have unplugged a cable connection that sits next to the fan but reconnected it. I then removed the base and installed the new bowl lift without disconnecting any of the cables....

Chosen Solution None of my windows are working on my 2006 Honda Odyssey. I have replaced the master control switch, checked all the fuses and complete a master control switch reset but still not working. Any thoughts on why to try next? Chosen Solution My Toshiba Satellite L50D series laptop will not start at all. When I put it on power charger and press the power button it roars fine. BUT it does not boot past Windows Recovery menu. The keyboard connector got destroyed so I can NOT press down to select Start Windows normally. Chosen Solution Note5 power on but screen doesn’t light up…??? Screen is not broken? Have you power cycled the phone? Attempted to do a manual hard reset using the external buttons? I’ve had a hard reset fix these type of problem before. Double and triple check those connections, possibly reattach an old screen to validate the functionality of the new screen. Any backlight problems? Sometimes I default to a blown backlight too fast, but it can happen....

Hello, I’m not sure how your wife can distinguish the smell of oil but I’m pretty sure it’s not that, or if assume that’s true then the only possibility is that the water and the oil are mixed together and you have a leak in the heater radiator, in this case the last thing you need to care about is the leak because water and oil should not be mixed otherwise your engine will wear faster, among other things....

Chosen Solution I took in a vizio E420-B1 (LED NOT SMART) Power Supply has no standby voltage, all 4 12 volt outputs stay active at all times, led voltage is 26,1 volts across the terminal, now if you power tv on and off a few times led voltage will jump to 35 volts and led and tv works fine for about 15 mins then shuts off, when this happens you have to do the power on and off procedure allover again until you get luck and it powers on....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 4 was dropped and now won’t turn on unless on the charger. When on the charger, the service does not work (“searching”) and the WIFI box is grayed out, and the bluetooth doesn’t connect. I tried unplugging and replugging the battery but that did not help. Anyone know what the problem is/how to fix it? this is most likely multiple problems due to cold solder joints under at least your power management chip, and possible also baseband and wifi chips....

Chosen Solution I never own a mac before, and still have my dell precision. I didn’t know that Apple has the rule that once you touch your equipment, they won’t fix it. I had no problem fixing it. Then, something came loose and “a know it all” started working on it. Screws are stripped and it wont reboot. I need a new screen. Is there a way to get a new case, battery and screen and drop the internal hard drive into place....

Chosen Solution I replaced the LCD, battery and rear cover on this phone. I tested it before attaching the new rear cover, the screen worked, and the phone went through a charge and discharge cycle as normal. Then I replaced the rear cover and left it to sit under some slight pressure while the adhesive set overnight. Next day the screen won’t come on, and there’s no indicator lights when I plug it into a charger....

Chosen Solution So I got this console second hand. Did a factory reset and re-updated the software once I brought it home. It was working great for about 2 weeks, then suddenly, while using an in-game menu, the screen froze, purple and green blotches appeared and the controller stopped responding. Chosen Solution Turn on to get black screen. Nothing else; no menus, no errors, no text or colors, just black. LEDs work. Tried hard reset few times. Removed battery. Tried holding to power button for 60 seconds still just black. The fan runs fine. No beep codes until I tried pushing f8 immediately upon restart, then I received 4 beeps pause 5 beeps. Also, another 2 beeps code was given after trying the f10 button upon powering up....

Chosen Solution This iPhone SE 1st gen was given to me in this state. The previous owner drilled the front camera out for privacy reasons. I do not have a SIM card with service to test cellular connectivity. I am unable to get my watch to pair via bluetooth and Wi-Fi randomly stops working with the switch grayed out in settings. @guardian10 “with the switch grayed out” if they went to the extent of drilling through the camera I would not be surprised that they also “disabled” BT and WiFi by the IC or the antenna or within the WiFi circuitry....

Chosen Solution Hi, My 13” MacBook Pro has strange weird closing issue. The lid is stiff still the magnet unlocks when I tilt it or keep my hand on the back and hold it. I bought just a month back and I am pretty sure that it may not be due to the fact of getting old. Kindly help me to sort it out. If you bought it used, most likely the previous owner did not align the hinges prior to tightening the screws....

Chosen Solution My screen is not damaged at all. However, the image has pixelated, with red blue greens etc the touch screen is still responsive. Can that be repaired? Any advice where to go for that? The final solution and the latter is the IC data you can fix this socket

Chosen Solution The red light is on. Can only turn on by button on rear of TV. Graeme Kerridge while the screen is black and you do have sound, shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out some shapes, silhouettes etc. if so it is your backlight that is having issues. If not then it is possible that this is a main board issue....
