If a cord is wound up too tightly over time it will put a strain in the cord and can cause a short in the wiring. Try turning it on and wiggling the cord at the base of the sweeper and see if that keeps it on longer. If so you will need to replace the cord....

It’s slowly been degrading, cords have worn down, most of the controllers don’t work, and most importantly the power button does not work. Your files should be safe as long as the HDD was not corrupted, damaged etc. due to either the reason for the damage or possible power problems because of this. If you have a desktop PC (or know someone who has) the HDD can be installed in it as a secondary HDD and then checked to see if it is still OK or not....

Chosen Solution The sound in one of my headphone’s speakers is rather faint and sometimes completely absent. I think it might be a internal wiring issue or a faulty speaker. Is there any way I might be able to repair or replace the speaker myself? @rhatten5 you need to check the wiring to the speaker that is not working properly. Depending on which side, it may be the crossover cable or the wiring right on the speaker....

Chosen Solution I have an old 2008 iMac. We are doing some home renovation and when we plugged the computer back in, it did not boot- the start up chime played and then a beep every 3 seconds. I replaced the ram with ram from owc (same as previously). I cleaned contact surfaces with an eraser-in the computer as well. I’m getting the same beep. Chosen Solution Hi, my xiaomi got run over by a car. It seems like everything works apart from the display, which is shattered. Touchscreen, back camera, buttons and calls work. I can’t tell for the front camera but i had problems with the camera already before the incident. The frame is broken just a little bit close to one corner. Considering the original price of 150 € it doesnt seem worth paying the 100€ to have the display repaired by a professional....

Chosen Solution The red light comes on when on when I plug in the power source. When I press the power button the green light comes on for 2 seconds then it’s blank. I can hit the power button again and the red light comes back on. But it doesn’t seem like the disc itself is spinning and I don’t hear any fan coming on.
