Chosen Solution Hi Everyone, New to this. My daughter recently spilled some water on her MacBook. Removed hard drive and it would just come up with a question mark. I put hard drive back in and was able to run diagnostics. It came back with an error, “4SNS/1/40000001-VPOR-4.956”. I guess the issue is a sensor for Voltage on the power bus. So, I soaked the logic board in isopropyl alcohol and let it dry overnight....

If it has had no power for a long period of time, it give the apple chime, then lights go out for a second, come back on and then fan spins at top speed. No image, nothing. Chosen Solution After bringing this PS3 back to life and fixing the fan, I was able to boot up the console where I began to update it. It was previously on 4.60 and was updating it to the latest firmware version; 4.82. It got to 99% and failed and kept retrying after failing at around 70%. Chosen Solution I changed the digitizer and I can here when I plug it in but the screen doesn’t show. I noticed the LCD strip had slid out of the socket it went into and I put it back in but it still doesn’t make the screen turn on. Have you tried reseating the battery connection after plugging the display cable in?
