I have a 13” MacBook Pro, mid 2012 that loses the operating system intermittently. The indication is a grey screen with either a folder icon with a question mark, or the universals ’no’ symbol. Prior to these incidents, the lap top will often become noticeably hot. So far, the condition clears itself after multiple restarts. I just. installed the ‘memory maxxer Ram upgrade kit’ in hopes that additional RAM would clear the problem. The issue continues after installation of the kit
