Chosen Solution
Hi guys, I ran into a strange problem. So, I have disassembled iPhone 7 and put it together again. LCD works normally with picture and backlight until the moment when you close the device fully to put the last 2 screws. At that moment, you cannot see the picture anymore, only backlight appears. As soon as you lift the screen up (1-2 mm or more), the picture appears on the screen. Any ideas?
I can only assume somehow the screen display ribbon cable got damaged or it’s not plugged in properly. Maybe it was bent / folded?
