recent apps button on the note 4 isnt lighting up or responding which component do i check to on the board to see whats wrong?
Check the charger port daughter board. The two touch capacitive buttons for recent apps and back are located there. Could be water damage inside or cable rip if screen changed before. You will probably have to take off the screen which requires you to be careful to not break the LCD. The touch capacitive buttons are between the glass and the front display frame.
