My PSVita will not take a charge or power on I bought it from a pawn shop a while back and it would not do anything and they would not take it back what might be the problem and how would I fix it.
@fatedengram this can be an issue with the charger, the charging port and/or the battery. Use a multimeter and check your charger to make sure that it has the proper voltage output (5V). If that is okay check the power port and change the battery while you are at it. Use these guides PlayStation Vita Repair to work on it.
Try opening it and unplug battery and plug back in then charge it. Sometimes that can fix. If slim model the android style charging cables are junk and often go bad. So it maybe your charger.
