I replaced the screen on my Iphone 6s. My husband has done several of these and I should have left the job to him, but decided to do it myself. Long story short, I switched the two cables at the top and forced the two to plug back in wrong. It wouldn’t turn back on so I finally figured out my error. Fixed that, but still will not turn on. Question is: did I short out my phone and will I ever get it to work again? I have so much on there that has not been backed up. Advice, help, please!!!!

Sounds pretty bad, so you got the front cam and screen connectors the wrong way round. You must have broken both connectors and god knows what to components on the logic board. I’d definitely take it into a board level repair shop.
