Good day..i have some question about my dvd mini hifi system..there is no sound while the monetor has. No output..pls give me some advise how to fix this?? Thank you

Without the model number, there is little specific answers we can give. I can however, provide some general things to check:

  1. If the receiver has a monitor or tape switch, make sure that this is not engaged.
  2. If the receiver normally uses shorting plugs to connect the pre-amp to the amp, make sure that these are in place.
  3. When you turn on the receiver, does it normally “click” just before the sound starts? If so, is it clicking now like it usually does?
  4. Is there an A/B speaker switch? Some receivers require both A and B to be connected to speakers if both are enabled. Verify that you have only the main speakers enabled. Let us know the results of the above and post the model number so we can provide more details. Dan
