I replaced the lightning connector on my iPhone 6s Plus yesterday and reassembled it only to realize I have no sound from the loudspeaker. I can hear through the headphone jack. The microphone works as people can hear me when I call them but I can’t hear them on the loudspeaker. Any suggestions?
Make sure the new connector is firmly connected to the board and that there aren’t any bent or damaged pins or tears in the new assembly. If that’s not the issue check to make sure the speaker can make contact with the lightning connector. There should be a couple pins that make contact with it. If that doesn’t work then you may have a defective part on your hands.
