Hi, I am posting here because I have some troubles with my MBP 8.2. Since the last week, my MBP won’t boot with AC or with battery supply. Just nothing. No fans noise, only the green LED of the MagSafe. I tried to change the battery and the DC board, but same problem. I observed the battery indicator show no light (maybe a clue for my problem ?). Of course, I already tried the SMC reset, and plug and unplug the battery … But nothing. Really, I hope my logicboard isn’t out, the academic start is coming, no money for the Apple Center … Best regards/
Take it into an ASP and have them test it for this issue which will cause your problem: https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro… Due to its not booting the ASP had to send it to Apple but it came back with a new logic board, for free. Total time was 5 days. Repair time is faster if they can get it to boot.
