So I unfortunately dropped my iPhone 8 Plus and the front screen smashed , I’m only 17 so I couldn’t afford to take it to Apple as they charge over £150, so I took it to a local repair shop. Everything was fine until I took it home and realised the screen was weird and my front AND back camera don’t look right it’s like there’s a haze over it, it’s dull and my camera looks weirdly saturated and low quality and it makes me look washed out. Somehow my back camera is the same even thought it wasn’t replaced. I feel like crying what’s wrong with it?
hello Stella, did your phone drop into something wet? Fog under the camera glass indicates that there is little water - this is condensation. How did it get there? I will not answer this question, but it is possible that a broken screen, exposed to moisture in the street, in the bathroom, etc., has absorbed some water. This should be cleaned as soon as possible. Electricity and water make a bad couple. Return to the workshop where you replaced the screen. Maybe they can do something. In fact, this should have been cleaned up when replacing the screen. Why it wasn’t done … I don’t know. Fortunately, such cleaning will not be expensive as long as no corrosion damage has already occurred. fingers crossing :-) regards,
