Didn’t know you needed a special Garage ready refrigerator. It died a few days ago. Not 9 months old. Is it fixable or do I need to purchase a new refrigerator. My old one lasted for 15 years….but now I know.
Hi, What is the make and model number of the refrigerator? Most fridges are repairable, unless there is a problem with the sealed system tubing that is encased in the insulation in the refrigerator. It would depend on what the problem is e.g. faulty compressor, blocked evaporator unit, leak in the sealed system etc, and how much you’re prepared to spend on it and then on getting a “garage kit" fitted to it (if there is one available for the model that is) so that it will continue to work where it is now situated.
