Hey. I bought a new home button for my silver iPhone 6 (got the black button so it would look cooler). As Apple is a high status company then there would be no reason for them to explain why phones are getting slower with time (updates…) and why we would need to buy the latest phone every time. I have a 16 GB of storage and battery capacity of 78% iPhone 6. I am going to buy another battery soon however i am also looking to buy another motherboard with more storage. The problem is that i live in Sweden and i don’t want the board locked to any phone provider. Also i am looking for a away to get more RAM onto the phone without doing anything by myself. Trying to find someone who does costume motherboards are hard… Anyways any answer to any of my questions are appreciated. Thanks!
Google says You Can’t Upgrade an iPhone’s Memory, It’s not possible to upgrade iPhone memory capacity, but there are people on youtube attempting or claiming that they upgrading their iPhones RAM. 16gb isn’t a lot some the closer you get to it, your phone starts to get a lot slower. A new logic board would help this with more storage and the phone would most likely work faster on top of a new battery as well. You cant upgrade ram on an iPhone the ram is the top layer of the cpu itself on the iPhone 6… there arent any different variations of that anyway. You can upgrade the nand which is the internal storage however it requires microsoldering and a programmer to do this. Before anyyyyyy of this I would recommend at least replacing the battery and see if the battery and phone performance is increased. P.s if the battery is effecting the performance of the phone in terms of slowing it down etc then replacing the board will not help this.
