Chosen Solution
Turn on my MacBook I got the icon with the folder and question mark in it blinking. Everywhere I read and when called apple pointed that I needed a new HD. Last night bought a new one and changed it. When booted same problem. I tried the command +r and install OS. When it tells me to pick HD it doesn’t show me any. My computer is not recognizing that there is a HD. Please help me any other ideas. Thanks
Your new HDD doesn’t have an os on it, you need to insert a macos install DVD/usb drive and hold option while booting up to install it.
Thanks for the responses… The problem was the cable. I guess is a know issue.
