I just got my frontloader yesterday and it shuts down also. lights and timer still on but does nothing.
Your is covered under warranty so I wouldn’t do more than to unplug it for five minutes to allow it to reset then plug back in. Make sure you have the water hoses hooked up and the valves have been opened. Next call Samsung. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/
