#1 I have a model a1432 That was dropped by a friend. The LCD was cracked and unresponsive to touch. I replaced the LCD and digitizer. The home key responds but the screen does not respond to touch. I tried 2 new digitizers with the same result. LCD works fine Any Ideas?
Could be that there is damage to the pins where the digitizer cable connects. You could open it and double check that everything is up to par. If you are disconnecting or connecting the LCD and digitizer, make sure the battery is unplugged first.
