I just replaced my battery on my MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2013, that I purchased from iFixit. The battery is not being recognized. The machine powers up fine when plugged in. When I boot and get to the login screen it shows the battery symbol with a white X. When I login and access the System Preferences/Energy Saver/Battery, the battery shows 0% and clicking on “show battery status in menu bar” does nothing. I already opened the machine back up to reseat the battery connector but not luck. Can someone please suggest things to try? Thanks

What is the color of the MagSafe connector’s LED Amber or Green? Just to be sure you did take the snapshot with the MagSafe connected correct?
