there is a considerable amount of rust occurring on my machine - I open the door and as I am viewing into the outside of the large seal going into the machine the right side is rusting - why is this happening - machine gently used by senior citizen.
I would contact Sears on this: https://community.sears.com/Discussions/… They are stating that it causes by excessive use of bleach. But these are enameled surfaces and unless clipped by things like the metal rivets in jeans, it sounds like a factory defect in the enameling process to me. But I am not a lawyer.
