I dropped my phone in water I immediately put it in rice it was turning on a few hours ago but you could still see water in the screen so I put it back in rice I went to check on it. It was warm so I tried to turn it on now it won’t turn on and the charger is useless and when I hold the power button my phone just vibrates please please help
First off putting the device is rice and later trying to turn the phone are about the worst two things you can do for a water damaged device. If a phone gets wet it needs to be immediately opened up to dry out and cleaned. I’ve had customers out there iPhone in rice for 3 days and I get it on the 4th day and when I open that phone up it is very wet and the rice does nothing. The second problem is applying power to a wet motherboard you will for sure burn out the fuses and your phone will be junk. In the future if your phone gets wet take it to a repair shop have them open it and clean in ultra sonic cleaner, and save the rice for dinner:)
