Hello. I’ve had my Ps4 for a awhile and out of the blue it stopped working on TV. It gives a black screen and can’t ear any sounds. I tried enter safe mode still the annoying black screen. Tried reset, changed hdmi cables and everything I could find online. Every other device (TV box, laptop) works fine on the hdmi port (it only has 1). So I tried my console on a friend’s TV and it works fine. Any idea what might be the issue. I find it strange everything works but the Ps4. Thanks in advance.
Sounds to me like the hdmi port on that specific TV is malfunctioning. I would check the tv. Plug in a bluray player or anything else into that specific hdmi port on your tv and see if it does the same. If the same issue arises then it’s the tv and not the ps4
